The Generals jumped out to an 8-0 lead, thanks to Sam P’s early HR, along with 10 other hits by Ella O(2), Kaitlin T(2), Sara D(2), Sam P(2), Emma T, Anna W, and Lily O. The Generals withstood the Reign comeback to win 8-6. Sara D started and Grace Y came on in relief.

The Generals opened up with a come from behind win scoring 4 in the bottom of the 4th to win 7 - 6. Grace Young pitched the complete game for the win. The team ended up with 11 hits from 10 different players. Natalie Bay had 2 hits.

The Generals rallied back late to make it a closer game. 6 hits for the team. Anna Wilson registered a triple and Breanna Lee registered a double. Sara Dennison pitched for the Generals.

In the Platinum(Upper) Bracket, the Generals matched up with Gold Fastpitch. The Gold led 1 - 0, through 3, when the Generals rallied for 3 runs in the top of the 4th. Gold rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th to claim the victory. The Generals outfielders, Ella O’Neill, Lily O’Neill, and Emma Thomson, had an outstanding day. Hits for the Generals were by Ella O’Neill and Sara Dennison. The Generals finished 9th out of 25 teams.

Dave Brubaker - Michigan HS Coaches Hall of Fame

Dave Brubaker, Head of the Michigan Generals, was inducted into the Michigan HS Softball Coaches Hall of Fame in January. Also honored that night was Tom Hillsey, one of the Generals Board Members, as the High School Assistant Coach of the Year.
